New facility at blood bank

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The blood components division of the blood bank of PRS Hospital was inaugurated on Monday by Dr. M. Krishnan Nair, founder-director, RCC, in the presence of R. Murugan, managing partner; Dr. M.S. Thiruvarian, medical administrator; Dr. R. Anandam, partner; doctors and staff of the hospital.

With this, the blood bank can process blood components like frozen plasma BP, concentrated RBC IP, platelet concentrate USP, cryoprecipitate USP and granulocyte concentrate. —Special Correspondent
