Kicking off on April 29, Swayam ‘09 will be inaugurated by renowned singer and music director C. Ashwath, who will be the chief guest at the ceremony. “We have been conducting the annual fest for the past 10 years now. We have always invited bands to perform at our college.

This year, we have organised a special performance by the popular Hindi rock band – Bombay Vikings,” said Mr. Muralidhar.

He said that following tradition, this year too, the college was keen on setting up a mega platform for students to showcase their talent.

The festival was a cultural extravaganza, complete with exciting competitions, ranging from dance, battle of the bands, mad ads, debate, quizzes and a fashion show, Mr. Muralidhar added.
