India Election Train to reach city on May 1

HYDERABAD: ‘India Election Train’ of BBC will be arriving in Hyderabad on May 1 along with its team of journalists. Reporting to the world in 12 languages across 14 BBC services, they will investigate the stories and personalities behind India’s election.
The team would investigate a variety of topics, key one being India’s response to current economic crisis. Others include IT industry, e-governance and marginalisation in Hyderabad. The BBC train will travel from Delhi to Hyderabad via Ahmedabad and Mumbai and will move to Bhubaneshwar, Kolkata, Patna and Allahabad before returning to Delhi. The team is led by Mark Perrow, Assignment Editor, BBC World News.
