Parents protest against hefty school fee hike

Staff Reporter

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Etasi Timpany Schools Parents’ Association (ETSPA) submitted a memorandum to District Collector and District Education Officer on Tuesday protesting against the hefty school fee hike imposed by Etasi Timpany Schools.

The association along with Hyderabad Parents Schools Association and other parents’ associations in the State will form All Andhra Parents Schools Association that will be affiliated to the National Schools Parents’ Association, ETSPA president Bala Satish said at a press meet here. On Tuesday, around 1,000 members of ETSPA came together and staged a dharna in front of the school in protest against the fee hike. “We have tried to put forth our grievances before the school management. Our aim is to bridge the gap between the parents and the school management for a better future of the students,” he said.
