State Bank of Hyderabad net up 11 %

HYDERABAD: State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) has reported a 11 per cent rise in net profit at Rs. 616 crore in 2008-09 against Rs. 557 crore in the previous year. Net interest income registered 32-per cent growth at Rs. 1,467 crore (Rs. 1,113 crore) while non-interest income registered 14 per cent growth at Rs. 769 crore (Rs. 677 crore). Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Managing Director Renu Challu said the bank’s total business during the year stood at Rs. 1.09 lakh crore, marking a 24-per cent growth over the previous year.
