Decision on Ajmal’s age likely on May 2

Staff Reporter

Mumbai: The inquiry into Mohammad Ajmal Amir ‘Kasab’s age has been concluded and the court is likely to give its decision on May 2, after the prosecution and defence have presented their arguments.

On Wednesday, defence lawyer Abbas Kazmi examined three witnesses and put on record the margin of error in dental and ossification tests.

Dr. Sudhir Nanandkar, who was part of the medical team which examined Ajmal, said the committee had unanimously concluded the age to be above 20.
