Udhagamandalam: MDMK Deputy General Secretary Mallai Sathya on Thursday urged election authorities to ensure that officials do not violate the code of conduct by making announcements. He pointed out that at a press conference addressed here on Wednesday, Sports Development and Youth Affairs Secretary Christodas Gandhi had announced that an indoor stadium would be constructed here and various other schemes implemented. Later, speaking to presspersons, he said that the chances of the MDMK candidate C. Krishnan emerging victorious were bright.
