HYDERABAD: Ybrant Digital, Hyderabad, a provider of digital marketing solutions, has announced the acquisition of Dream Ad, another major company with a strong regional presence in Latin America. Disclosing this to mediapersons here on Wednesday, Ybrant Digital Chairman and CEO Suresh Reddy said Dream Ad with over 80 per cent growth rate had over 300 active clients, including Microsoft Advertising, MTV, Oridian and Dorimedia. It was also the exclusive sales house for Microsoft Advertising in the South Cone region. “With this acquisition, Ybrant deepens its reach into South America adding four more countries — Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Mexico — to its global presence in 16 countries,” he said. Incidentally, this was the fifth acquisition for Ybrant which is still a private company. With $55 million revenue last year and business improving this year, the company should do even better with the latest acquisition, he added. Despite slowdown, things were looking up for online advertising and ‘performance marketing’ in place of ‘brand marketing’ was picking up, he said.
