SALEM: The Salem Government Music School invites applications for admissions to its courses. According to a press release, those aged between 13 and 25 are eligible to join the following courses offered by the school: Vocal, Devaram, Bharathanatyam, Violin, Miruthangam, Nathaswaram and Thavil. The government will provide certificate on successful completion of the courses. No tuition fee will be collected. A sum of Rs. 120 will be collected as special fee per annum. Scholarships will be provided to those belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and backward classes. More information can be obtained from Headmaster, Government Music School, Sarada College Road, Fairlands, Salem - 16.
