Applications for admission to music school courses

SALEM: The Salem Government Music School invites applications for admissions to its courses.

According to a press release, those aged between 13 and 25 are eligible to join the following courses offered by the school: Vocal, Devaram, Bharathanatyam, Violin, Miruthangam, Nathaswaram and Thavil.

The government will provide certificate on successful completion of the courses.

No tuition fee will be collected. A sum of Rs. 120 will be collected as special fee per annum.

Scholarships will be provided to those belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and backward classes.
