After criminally assaulting her, the foursome dumped the girl by the roadside in Narela A policeman on patrol duty found her and rushed her to a nearby hospital NEW DELHI: A 14-year-old girl was abducted by four young men in a car at Shalimar Bagh in North-West Delhi and allegedly criminally assaulted on Friday. She was then dumped in Narela. According to the police, the girl went out along with her mother to relieve herself in the morning when the four men in the car spotted her. They pulled up near her, dragged her inside and sped away. The culprits criminally assaulted the girl and then dumped her by the roadside in Narela after about 30 minutes. She was found by a policeman on patrol duty, who rushed her to a nearby hospital. Her medical examination confirmed that she had been assaulted. Based on a complaint lodged by her parents and the medical examination report, the police have registered a rape case and are trying to identify the culprits. “The victim is in a state of shock and we cannot talk to her in such a condition,” said a police officer, adding that all kind of help was being extended to her. The police have picked up some men for questioning to get a clue to the identity of those involved in the incident. “We are also trying to track down the vehicle. We are questioning the area residents to find out if anyone had seen the men abducting the girl,” said the police officer.
