Water level

MADURAI: Water level in the Periyar dam on Friday stood at 110.30 feet (136 feet) with an inflow of 10 cusecs and no discharge. The level in the Vaigai dam was 33.33 feet (71 feet) with an inflow of 138 cusecs and a discharge of 41 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at minus 220 mcft. Peranai recorded 2.2 mm of rainfall.
