Carmel High School celebrates

BANGALORE: The Carmel High School in Padmanabhanagar, which is part of The Hindu’s Newspaper-in-Education (NIE) programme, has recorded cent per cent pass in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination 2009, as it has done in the past 18 years.
Topping the school and the State was Sanjana R. with 98.72 per cent. Second was Sanjana B.S., who secured 97.28 per cent followed closely by Chaitra S. who secured 97.12 per cent.
As many as 337 students appeared, out of which 171 students gained distinction and 162 students secured a first class.
