Special trains for summer rush

HUBLI: South Central Railway has decided to run Weekly Express Summer Special trains between Vijayawada and Bangalore during the summer, a release said.

Accordingly, Train No.0757 Vijayawada-Bangalore City Weekly Express Special will leave Vijayawada at 11.45 p.m. on Thursdays from May 7 and arrive at Bangalore city at 3.30 p.m. the next day. The service of the last weekly express special from Vijayawada will be on June 25.

In the return direction, Train No.0758 Bangalore-Vijayawada Weekly Express Special will leave Bangalore city at 4.45 p.m. on Fridays from May 8 and arrive at Vijayawada 7.30 a.m. the next day.

The last service of the train will be on June 26. The Weekly Express Special will have 15 coaches — one 2-tier A/C coach, one 3-tier A/C coach, six second-class sleepers, five general second-class coaches and two second-class luggage-cum-brake Vans.
