Taj GVK Hotels net at Rs. 53 crore

HYDERABAD: Taj GVK Hotels and Resorts posted a net profit of Rs. 52.77 crore in the year ended March 31, 2009. It recorded an 8 per cent drop in total income at Rs. 238.30 crore against Rs. 259.12 crore in the previous year. The drop was more pronounced at 20 per cent during the fourth quarter of the year when the company’s income stood at Rs. 57.32 crore (Rs. 71.64 crore). — Special Correspondent
