Ranbaxy recalls Nitrofurantoin capsules

MUMBAI: Ranbaxy Laboratories on Saturday said it had recalled all lots of Nitrofurantoin capsules, used in the treatment of infections. Ranbaxy Pharmaceutical Inc (RPI), a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of the company, had recalled all lots of Nitrofurantoin (Monohydrate/Macrocrystals) capsules, United States Pharmacopeia (USP) 100 mg, available in the market there, Ranbaxy said in a statement.
