TMMK members stage road roko

Members of the Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam staged a road roko in front of the M.S.S. Wakf Board college protesting against alleged “irregularities” in filling up of vacant posts of lecturers, on Saturday.

The protest was led by its district president, Seeni Ahmed.

He alleged that attempts were being made to appoint ‘outsiders’ following pressure from influential people.

The protestors dispersed after the college management promised to stop the appointment process, Mr. Seeni Ahmed claimed.
