Autorickshaw partly damaged

CHENNAI: An autorickshaw was partly damaged when it caught fire at Navalar Colony in MGR Nagar early on Saturday.

Police said Sugumaran (40), the owner and driver, had parked the vehicle in front of his house on Krishnan Street. At 2 a.m., he woke up to calls from neighbours and saw the autorickshaw in flames. With the help of some local people, the fire was put off.
