Teachers’ transfers: online counselling

Hyderabad: School Education Minister C. Damodar Rajnarsimha, accepted the proposal in principle to conduct online counselling for transfer of teachers since it ensured transparency. He, however, wanted a demonstration to be given to teacher MLCs and other office-bearers of teachers associations to elicit their opinions and suggestions.

The Minister, who reviewed the important aspects of School Education Department here on Saturday, directed the officials to see that all text books were made available to the students on the first day of reopening of schools. He reviewed the progress of evaluation of answer sheets of tenth class examination and directed officials to take necessary steps to announce the results at the earliest and conduct instant examinations quickly.

The status of regularisation of services of vocational instructors was also and officials were asked to come up with suitable proposals for overcoming hurdles in the matter.
