Amritsar: A teenager on Sunday allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his father’s revolver here, police said. Datinder Pal Singh (16) shot himself at his residence on Saturday night when nobody was at home, police said, adding he was taken to a hospital where he died. Preliminary investigation revealed that Datinder, a student of class XI, took the extreme step due to depression as he was not doing well in his studies, they said.
