BSP candidate lodges complaint

NEW DELHI: The Bahujan Samaj Party’s contestant for the Lok Sabha from New Delhi Trilok Chand Sharma has filed a compliant against the Congress candidate Ajay Maken for “violating” the code of conduct.

In a letter to the Returning Officer, Mr. Sharma has alleged that his opponent for the seat has overshot the expenditure limit of Rs.25 lakh prescribed by the Election Commission.

“Mr. Maken has put up large hoardings at prime locations throughout the New Delhi constituency,” Mr. Sharma has complained.
