Shopkeeper beaten to death

NEW DELHI: A 60-year-old shopkeeper was beaten to death allegedly by his neighbour following an altercation in Mehrauli here on Saturday.

According to the police, Laxman fell out with his neighbour Inder (50) over some issue during a drinking session. The altercation took a violent turn and Inder beat up Laxman causing head injuries. The shopkeeper’s family took him to Bhagwati Hospital and later to AIIMS trauma centre where he was declared brought dead.
