Swine flu: 213 screened at airport

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The 24-hour control room set up at the international airport here following the alert against swine influenza screened 213 passengers who arrived from abroad on 19 flights for symptoms of swine flu.

A press release issued by the district health administration said 2,643 foreigners had arrived in the airport in 19 flights on Sunday. Those who were screened by the doctors attached to the control room were those who came from countries where swine flu had been reported.
