No confusion: Chawla

Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: Chief Election Commissioner Navin B. Chawla on Thursday said there was no confusion over the deletion of his name from one part of the photo electoral rolls.

Talking to The Hindu after casting his vote in a polling station at Nirman Bhavan here, he said that early this year he found his name in both Parts 85 and 86 of the rolls. On February 6, he asked the Delhi Chief Electoral Officer to delete his name from Part 85.

In keeping with the rule, the deleted list of voters was kept at the polling station.
