Witness summoned

BANGALORE: The B.K. Somashekara Commission directed a witness to depose before it on May 12 the facts related to a church in Mysore. The Commission, inquiring into attacks on churches in the State, passed the order in relation to the statement filed by Philomena Raj Williams of Mysore. In her statement filed on April 28, Ms. Williams said she knew about misuse of funds, property, and language discrimination but these issues were not before the Commission and had not led to any attack or disharmony in the area and she requested the Commission to drop her from examination. — Staff Reporter
