Congress chargesheet a work of fiction: Dhumal

Sujay Mehdudia

SUJANPUR (H.P.): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal has termed the chargesheet submitted to the Governor by the Congress against his government as a baseless document that was devoid of any facts and was a work of fiction.Describing the charge sheet as an attempt by the Congress to divert public attention from issues affecting the common man, the Chief Minister said it was nothing but a reproduction of newspaper clippings and photocopies of irrelevant documents dating back to time when the Congress was in power.

The Congress had nothing to disclose before the people of the State against the 16-month-old BJP Government led by him, he claimed.

“I have always taken a stand and made it clear that no wrongdoing or corruption would be tolerated. I still maintain that if the Congress party has any authentic facts, rather than resorting to gimmicks and cheap tactics they should make those public and we are open to any kind of inquiry,” he said.
