Mr. Manubhai Shah, Union Minister for Industries, has in a communication addressed to leading industrialists, chambers and business associations in the country emphasised the great need of giving a drive to the promotion of small-scale, feeder and ancillary industries. The Union Minister has, in his communication, pointed out that the lack of entrepreneurship, the paucity of finance and ready availability of market were some of the major handicaps still being experienced by a large number of small entrepreneurs, particularly in the backward areas.
