Schools League from today
KOCHI: The Kerala Schools Football League’s final phase kicks off at the Maharaja’s Stadium here on Tuesday.
Ernakulam’s Sacred Heart HSS (Thevara), Kannur’s K.P.R. Gopalan Memorial GVHSS (Kallissery), Kozhikode’s St. Joseph’s Boys HSS, Malappuram’s Government VHSS (Mampad), Thrissur’s Government BHSS (Chalakudy), Pathanamthitta’s St. John’s HSS (Eraviperoor) and Thiruvananthapuram’s Leo XIII HS (Pulluvila) are the teams in the fray.
Vyalar Ravi, the Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs, will inaugurate the league on Tuesday evening and Kerala Sports Minister M. Vijayakumar will preside over the opening function.
