GUNTUR: All establishments covered under the Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 are required to enroll and remit amount Provident Fund for all ‘international workers’ in addition to the resident Indian workers. Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Gutnur Region, T.V. Subba Reddy in a release said the Act had been amended last year and it was mandatory on the establishments to deduct and remit the amount for Provident Fund and Pension scheme. This was notified through a gazette on October 1, 2008, he added.
