Congress’ open invitation to TRS

HYDERABAD: Former APCC president and AICC spokesperson K. Keshava Rao has said that the doors of Congress party are still open for the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS).

Notwithstanding the open assertion by TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao that his party would sail with the National Democratic Alliance, Dr. Rao said he was confident that the TRS would come back to the Congress fold. He advised the Congress leaders to refrain from making controversial statements on Telangana. “There is no need for the leaders to issue statements that could create embarrassment for the party,” he told reporters on Tuesday, who met him at his residence.
