CI’s bail plea adjourned

VISAKHAPATNAM: Third Additional District Judge and Special Judge for ACB Cases A. Navamohana Rao on Tuesday adjourned to Wednesday the proceedings on the bail application filed by suspended Circle Inspector of III Town Police Station B.V.G. Prasad.

Mr. Prasad was arrested by ACB on Saturday while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs.2 lakhs and was remanded to judicial custody on Monday. The bail application was filed after he was sent to remand. DIG of Visakha Range Sowmya Mishra issued the suspension order on Monday .
