Bail granted

Thiruvananthapuram: Judicial First Class Magistrate III Philip Thomas, on Wednesday, granted bail to two Secretariat employees who were arrested on Tuesday on the charge of attempting to storm the office of Cooperation Minister G. Sudhakaran.

They are Subash John Mathew, president of the pro-Opposition Secretariat Employees’ Association and its general secretary, M.S. Irshad.

The court granted them bail after the accused produced sureties who executed a bail bond of Rs.10,000. — Staff Reporter
