Special Speed Post counters to receive applications

CHENNAI: Students submitting applications for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) can now take advantage of the Postal Department’s special arrangements to send their forms by the Special Speed Post for quick delivery to Anna University.
For this purpose, special counters have been opened at T. Nagar and Mylapore Head Post Offices, as well as Triplicane, Teynampet, Royapettah, Madras University, Gopalapuram, Nungambakkam and Choolaimedu Post Offices.
To confirm the prompt delivery, special bar code labels are pasted by the Department of Posts on all Speed Post articles and will be scanned by the Internet before dispatch. Students can log on to www.indiapost.gov.in to get an update on the status of their dispatch.
