Student returning from EAMCET crushed to death

HYDERABAD: A student returning home after appearing for EAMCET got crushed to death when an oncoming lorry rammed into the car he was travelling on the Kompally bridge on Thursday.

While Shivadeep Goud, 19, died on the spot, his father, Bhaskar Goud, who was driving the car, sustained minor injuries. The victim’s friend, Dhanraj Goud, who too appeared for the test and was travelling with them, escaped unhurt.

The accident occurred around 1.30 p.m. when the car was coming from Medchal to Petbasheerabad, the police said. Goud is a resident of Hastinapuram at L.B. Nagar.
