VISAKHAPATNAM: The local leadership of Praja Rajyam is so confident of victory that it has booked tickets for all its 15 candidates to go to Hyderabad on Saturday evening after the results. “We have booked tickets to Hyderabad by the late evening’s SpiceJet flight on the day of the results,” said PR strong man and district convener Ganta Srinivasa Rao, who is also one of them having contested for the Anakapalle Assembly seat. Asked whether the Lok Sabha candidates were not accompanying them, he replied that their tickets too would be booked. He was addressing a media conference in connection with the medical camps to be organised by the PR in the agency area which is hit by anthrax, diarrhoea and viral fevers. Asked why the programme was delayed till now since PR founder Chiranjeevi had announced at a media conference in the city last Thursday that medical camps would be organised from the next day, Mr. Srinivasa Rao replied that they were busy organising the medical teams, rice and other diet for the affected. Doctors and Rotary Club Visakhapatnam were also associated in the programme, he said. Head of the medical team T. Venkateswara Rao, a private practitioner, said besides providing food and medicines, the focus would be on awareness, and preventive steps.
