Swimming pool manager, coach held

CHENNAI: The manager of a swimming pool and a coach in New Washermanpet were arrested on charges of negligence on Friday.
Police said L. Pugazhendi (10) of VOC Nagar was found dead in the pool. He was shifted to the Stanley Medical College and Hospital by an autorickshaw driver. Investigation revealed that the victim had gone to the pool managed by Pugazhendi in Tiruvalluvar Nagar for swimming. He drowned after he entered the deeper side of the pool.
The New Washermanpet police have registered a case. Manager Pugazhendi and the coach Dinesh were arrested.
