Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD: Two pilots of Indian Airlines and a driver were seriously injured when the car in which they were travelling hit a speeding lorry at Shatamrai near Shamshabad on Friday.
Pilots Sanjeev, Raj Kumar and driver Raju Yadav were admitted to a corporate hospital. The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Inspector Jayaram told reporters that rash driving by Yadav resulted in the accident.
The car was going towards the airport when it rammed into the left side of the lorry as the driver tried to overtake it at a high-speed.
Based on the oral complaint given by the pilots, a case was registered against the car driver.
