Hari Krishna loses again
NEW DELHI: P. Hari Krishna suffered his second straight loss after facing China’s Wang Hao in the seventh round of the 39th Bosna tournament at Sarajevo on Friday.
The 41-move defeat with black pieces saw Hari occupy the last spot in the six-player field with two points. Three more rounds remain.
On a day when all three boards produced decisive results, Ukraine’s Pavel Eljanov (5.5 points) consolidated his position at the top with a 24-move victory over Holland’s Ivan Sokolov and top-seeded Slovakian Sergei Movsesian beat Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Borki Predovic in 29 moves.
