Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Chairman of the Karnataka State Human Rights Commission (KSHRC) S.R. Nayak has directed the deputy commissioners, of Bangalore Urban and Bangalore Rural districts, to take immediate steps to ease the problems of students and their parents in getting the certificates from the authorities concerned.

The directive comes following a report in these columns on May 8, 2009 on the plight of students to apply for various certificates.

Report sought

The chairman also directed the deputy commissioners to submit a report on the action taken within two weeks, according to a press release from the commission.
