Air Chief in city

BANGALORE: Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal F.H. Major, on Friday visited the Headquarters Training Command, Indian Air Force (IAF), at Hebbal.

He was accompanied by Zareen Major, president, Air Force Wives Welfare Association. They were received by Air Marshal and Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief V.R. Iyer and wife Bala Iyer. Air Chief Marshal Major will retire on May 31, and he will be the first Chief of Air Staff to settle down in Bangalore after retirement, according to a release from the Ministry of Defence.
