MGFL profit up

KOCHI: Manappuram General Finance & Leasing Limited has recorded a 44.34 per cent increase in net profit in 2008-09 in comparison to the previous year.

The company made a profit of Rs.3,030 lakh as compared to Rs.2,099 lakh in 2007-08, according to its chairman, V.P. Nandakumar. The company’s Board of Directors has approved a scheme of amalgamation of the company and Manappuram Finance Tamil Nadu Limited.
