SALEM: Residents of Kitchipalayam here blocked traffic protesting against the Salem Corporation’s apathy to de-silt the drainage channels in their locality. The residents on Monday staged a road blockade complaining about health hazards owing to overflowing drainage water. They also alleged that Salem Corporation was not taking any concerted efforts to redress their grievance.
