Procession taken out in Ambur

AMBUR: Members of the Ambur Congress Committee paid homage to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on the occasion of his 18th death anniversary, here on Thursday.

Led by Ambur Town Congress Committee president E. Suresh Babu, they took out a procession from their office to the Rajiv Gandhi statue on Bypass Road and paid floral tributes to the leader.

Mr. Babu administered an anti-terrorism pledge to the members. Councillors K. Yuvaraj, Maheswari Kumaresan and Kamalanathan also paid homage.
