International intervention sought

Tiruvannamalai: The Sri Lankan Tamils’ Protection Movement took out a rally here on Thursday seeking international intervention in the issue of ensuring rights of internally displaced Tamil people in Sri Lanka.

The rally began from Kamaraj statue, proceeded through important streets and culminated at Anna statue.

PMK former general secretary Ponnusamy,Peranamallur MLA G. Ethiroli Maniyan, CPI district secretary K. Jothi, and MDMK district secretary Raja participated.
