Administrative nod for three hydel projects
Special Correspondent
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) on Thursday accorded administrative sanction for three new hydro-electric projects — one at Pooyamkutty for 210 MW and the other two at Pambar and Vakkallar for 40 MW and 24 MW respectively. A full board meeting decided to extend to May 31 the deadline for government departments and local self-government institutions for one-time settlement of their bill dues. The meeting decided to install two 25 MVA transformers at the 220 kV substation at Kanjikkode. The 33 kV substation at Thambalamanna in Kozhikode would be upgraded to 110 kV.
