BANGALORE: Indira T. Gowda, Chitra Magimairaj and Vidya Pillai will take part in the Asian 9 ball pool ranking tournament scheduled to be held from May 26 to 29 at Daegu in South Korea.

The qualifiers from this championship will figure in the World Pool championship to be held in Beijing in September this year. This is the first time that Indian women are getting a direct entry into a global pool event.
