THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A.R. Rahul’s century went in vain, as Pankajakasturi lost to Kids CC in the Alka Ventures TDCA ‘A’ division cricket league at the Medical College ground on Friday. Chasing a target of 244 in 45 overs, Pankajakasturi, despite Rahul’s heroics, was dismissed for 212 in the 40th over. Earlier, Kids rode on Shajan Salim’s half-century (63) to post a challenging target of score 243 before being dismissed in the last over. The scores: Kids CC 243 in 44.5 overs (Shajan Salim 63, V.V. Kannan 40, Rejith 37, Biswajith three for 63, Jiju G. Kumar three for 64) bt Pankajakasturi CC 212 in 39.1 overs (A.R. Rahul 101, G.S. Anoop four for 66, Santu Jose three for 51). CCK posts winCricket Club of Kerala (CCK) and Attingal CC recorded wins in the TDCA ‘E’ division league at the Medical College ground on Friday. CCK defeated Travancore CC by 26 runs. Attingal trounced Loyola ‘B’ by eight wickets. The scores: Cricket Club of Kerala 137 in 25.3 overs (Abilash 38 no, Sreejith three for 19) bt Travancore CC 111 in 22.3 overs (Vidhu Krishnan three for 25, Anooj three for 25). Loyola ‘B’ 98 in 27 overs lost to Attingal CC 101 for two in 19.2 overs (Jojo 36 n.o., Vignesh 35 n.o.). Easy for AGORCAG’s Office Recreation Club and Tiscot CC scored easy wins in the TDCA ‘F’ division cricket league at the Medical College ground on Friday.
