Influenza A(H1N1) flu virus tests come negative

HYDERABAD: The National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD), New Delhi test results of the swab samples of two suspected influenza A(H1N1) flu virus patients, who were admitted to Government General and Chest Hospital, Erragadda, have come negative.

The two admitted patients would be discharged by Saturday night.

The hospital doctors informed that no new cases of passengers with suspected flu like symptoms were admitted on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the country’s first H1N1 strain positive patient is showing signs of recovery, they added.

The authorities said that they would be able to discharge the H1N1 strain positive patient very soon, after they get due permission from the higher-ups.
