High alert sounded in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A high alert has been sounded in the city and suburbs following the killing of two top Maoist leaders – Patel Sudhakar Reddy and Kanugula Venkataiah in an encounter in Warangal district on Sunday morning.
Frisking operations
A message has been flashed to all the police stations in Hyderabad and Cyberabad Commissionerate limits asking the police personnel to intensify frisking operations. Security was also beefed-up at Old MLA quarters in Hyderguda, New MLA quarters in Adarshnagar and Ministers Quarters and MLAs Colony in Banjara Hills, besides Secretariat. Special police pickets have been posted at the offices of political parties.
