TIRUNELVELI: Two persons were killed when an autorickshaw was knocked down by a speeding lorry near Valliyoor on Monday evening. Police said two unidentified persons travelling in the autorickshaw and the driver of the vehicle sustained serious injuries when a sand laden lorry hit the autorickshaw near Thalapathisamudhram. While the occupants were killed on the spot, the driver has been admitted to hospital in unconscious state. His condition is said to be critical.
