PUDUCHERRY: Power supply will be suspended in certain areas in the town and adjoining places on Tuesday and Wednesday. A release from the Electricity Department said that power supply would be disrupted from 10 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. on Tuesday at Mahatma Gandhi Road, Muthialpet, Ganesh Nagar, Solai Nagar, parts of Angalamman Nagar and Karuvadikuppam, Pattinatha Thottam, Viswanathan Nagar, Suriyagandhi Nagar, Ezhil Nagar, Samipillaithottam and Vaithikuppam. On Wednesday, power supply would be disrupted from 9 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. at Vambakeerapalayam and Dubrayapet. The shutdown was due to maintenance work carried out on high-tension feeder emanating from Marapalam sub-station, the release said.
